Micro Biz Matters Day 2017

MicroBizMattersDay is a global day of micro business owners coming together to discuss and give advice on many topics of starting a business, hosted by Enterprise Rockers.

Super surreal and super fun!

Our CEO, Catherine Piddington, spent an hour with Tina giving advice on 'stuff you need to know' about starting a business. Our 1 hour section starts a couple of hours in (2.01:20), but there were many more great speakers and topics throughout the whole day.

You can cut straight to our bit here

Start-Ups Assemble!

On Saturday Enterprise Nation are holding their biggest event of the year - StartUp 2017.

We have been invited to sit on the 'How I took my Business Global' panel discussing how to begin exporting globally. We will be alongside Good Ordering and LoveCorn. Please do come and say hello afterwards.

11am - 11:45am - How I took my Business Global. HSBC building, Canary Wharf.

StartUp 2017 is a fabulous full day event for all those who have recently or would like to set up their own company. If you're thinking of doing the same I would highly recommend this as a starting point - I will most definitely be sticking around to hear some brilliant people speak.

Tickets can be found here.

New Year, New Business?

3 years ago this month I left the cocoon of my wonderful job to start my own business. It was overwhelming and scary... but actually the best decision of my life and incredibly satisfying. I don't think could ever revert.

Starting a new venture in January isn't always about impulsive New Year's resolutions. For me it was a great motivation and gave me a year to build and develop my product line.

Simon Caldwell, writing for Business Advice, has just published an article on new businesses being registered in January, in which we are quoted. It's really interesting and can be found here

The rest of the website has some great articles and advice - a perfect starting point for all you entrepreneurs!

Jam on a Bucket List

In 2012 Laura Lawson decided to change her life. She wrote a bucket list and has been working through it valiantly over the last few years - recording her journey on Completing my Bucket List

We sent her a Gift Box of jam through our connection with Yumbles and she has written a fabulous review, which can be read here.

Make sure you read through the rest of her blog because it is inspiring on many different levels - and also reads very well!

USA, Get On Board!

We can now offer reasonable shipping rates to the US - what a relief!!

Until today, postage rates to the States have been stubbornly high and frankly unreasonable. Despite this, we have still had so many American supporters.

We cannot thank you enough, but we can start by passing on the new incredible postage rates.

Make the most of this great news and celebrate with some delicious jam - shop with us today!

The Beauty of a Logo

The logo and brand of a company is extremely important and speaks volumes about who they are and what they represent.

We realise that we only use our basic logo on our website. We are posting it here to share with you, in detail, the true beauty of our logo: the intricacy and tricky balance between modern and traditional is outstanding.

What does it tell you about us? We'd love to hear your thoughts...
